Good Afternoon Resident

Over the last 7 days we have had a total of four burglaries in the following locations,  Tiverton Road, Pershore Road, Bristol Road, and Harborne Lane. items stolen by offender/s were car keys, T.V, Laptop, Pedal Bike, E scooter.  There was also one attempt burglary on Selly Park Road.

We have also had a total of four theft from motor vehicle on the following locations Second Avenue, Third Avenue and Coronation Road. Items stolen were, Battery drill, combo drill, football boots and cd's.  There was one theft of a Green Lexus on Oakfield Road which was later recovered.

CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE

·  Please DO NOT leave valuables on display in your home and never leave items in your vehicles.

·  Invest in a full disc steering wheel lock for your vehicle

·  Make sure your fob has done its job. Check the doors are locked and all windows shut.

·  Invest in anti-snap locks for all your exterior doors

·  Invest in anti-tamper screws for your vehicles registration plates

·  DO NOT advertise on social media that you are going away on holiday

·  Use timer switches to plug lamps in, to come on at different times of day and night to show movement in your home

·  Invest in C.C.T.V

·  Property mark all valuables with postcode and a memorable word so if items are stolen and recovered we can return items to you. 

·  Make notes of serial numbers/IMEI numbers any distinguishing marks/logos

·  Please take photos of expensive jewellery so if anything is stolen you can show officers so they can attend stores that buy and sell these items
